"Half Way Home" Is The Debut Album By UK's DeeExpus Project. Musically, "Half Way Home" Occupies A Rare Crossroads Between The Progressive Guitar-Rock Territory Carved Out By Porcupine Tree's "In Absentia" And The Exquisite Pop Sensibilities Of A-Ha's "Minor Earth, Major Sky." This Album Delivers Big On Memorable Moments, And Begs Further Exploration During Successive Listens.
I Just Can't Get Over How Surprisingly Solid This Release Is, Considering It's A Debut Album. Throughout There Is Excellent Songwriting, Timing, And Musicianship - Noting Is Wasted. Half Way Home Is A Contender For One Of The Year's Best Releases, And I Will Be Surprised If This Band Remains Unsigned For Long!

We Are Having A Listening Party On Sunday 25th May (The One Before The Second May Bank Holiday Monday) In A Picturesque Little Pub In A Picturesque Little Village Just Outside Of Durham City Where Hopefully We Will Have Our Finished Album Half Way Home Mastered, Packaged And On Sale For The First Time. Due To The Size Of The Room, Spaces Are A Bit Limited And Are Invite Only. If You Fancy Coming Along For An Hours Worth Of Prog Rock, Food (Free), Drink (Not Free!!!) Followed By A Party In The Bar, Pop Us An Email Through To Gardenparty@Deeexpus.Com And We'll Be In Touch.

One8 Is Finished And Now Playing In The Media Section. The Song Has Been Reworked From The Origional Demo, And Now Features A Cracking Little Solo From Phil At The End. All The Guitars Have Been Redone By Phil And Myself Along With A Fresh Set Of Vocals From Tony. For Those Who Are Interested, The Lyrics Refer To A Group Of 'Friends' Who I People Watched, In A Pub In Grimsby Of All Places. Lets Face It, There Wasn't Much Else To Do. Enjoy The Track, Andy.
